Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Cotswold

This restaurant consistently has very good food and a nice atmosphere. The server checks on the guests but not to the point of being bothersome.

Service was great, Brunch menu was interesting and food was great. Will definitely be back.

The local cheeses and pickle accompaniment are excellent and would reorder again. The grilled chicken I asked for pairing with the Hoppin John was superbly cooked. My husband had the shrimp and clams with gumbo-soaked rice and that was also very good. It seems that some of the local suppliers may no longer be in business: one of the reasons we went to Stoke was because of this. It's not obvious if new local suppliers are used as the menus must be printed in the 1000's and difficult to update! The supplier names are also painted on the walls... Nice pre-dinner cocktails too, Stoke Manhattan was good with the entire dinner actually. Plan to return as we live in walking distance.
