I hosted a work dinner for 25 people at Rare. Ernesto, Martin, and Ismael were extraordinarily helpful, attentive, and overall, excellent. Communication was thorough, and every single detail that was needed to make my event/meal successful was perfectly executed by the staff. The tables were ready and beautifully set. Orders were taken and filled with impeccable timing and care. The food was delicious. It was a perfect evening.

First, there is someone to greet you outside the hotel with valet parking. This is an area on 16th street, directly in front of the WH (formerly BLM Blvd). Very populated, removes any stress to find a place to park. Lovely lobby seating as you wait for your whole party to arrive. Lafayette Restaurant hostess greeted us. Sat us immediately, greeted by a whole team, led by Efrain. Food is excellent, wonderful and delicious root vegetables: everyone enjoyed their entree- rockfish, veg cauliflower, and 2 special scallop dishes. Bread 2 types were offered, I was generously offered one of each. Desserts are delicious and unique, loved the fleur citrus meringue. One of us spilled our water glass, it was attended to immediately. Definitely a pleasant experience. Not for everyday, but will return!
