- RRoxanneSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoIt was a Tuesday which was wonderful as they were barely busy but it did pick up by the time we finished. Hostess and waitress were wonderful and welcoming, very happy the customers were there. My dish was okay- fettuccine chicken carbonara, it was creamy and had chicken but was lacking overall flavor- definitely missing garlic and a few other regular things. The other dish was spaghetti and meatballs, flavorful and filling. The wedge salad was perfect! I guess if you order a Caesar you have to ask for anchovies as they were not offered and it didn’t taste like they were in the dressing. Would I go back- absolutely as they have so many other dishes to choose from I would score a 7 out of 10More infoLuceti's on 25th AvenuePrice: Expensive• Italian• San Mateo•4.7

With only a few other guests during our visit, we enjoyed open seating and chose a lovely outdoor table shaded by umbrellas—perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends. The service was warm and attentive throughout, although the drinks arrived after our meals, which was a bit of a letdown. The food, however, made up for it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We tried the Penne Bolognese with wagyu meat ragù, the gluten-free Ravioli di Bufala di Campana topped with brown butter and sage, a fresh Caprese sandwich, and Focaccia bread that was ideal for sharing. Each dish showcased quality ingredients and excellent preparation. That said, the portion sizes were on the smaller side considering the premium price point. Overall, it was a lovely lunch experience for a friendly gathering, and I’d most likely return to try other dishes on the menu.More infoFarm and VinePrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Burlingame•4.8

- RRonnieVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWonderful selections. New server left a little bit to be desired when it came to customer service. Business dinner with a client this evening. Server decided early on that she needed to inform us of a larger party reservation and the 'need' for her to move us if we needed more time. Hence the 4 starsMore infoIl Fornaio - BurlingamePrice: Moderate• Italian• Burlingame•4.6
