Welcome to Roberts Scratch Kitchen. We are a fine dining continental cuisine BYOB scratch kitchen restaurant located in Totowa New Jersey. Serving lunch and dinner with daily specials, offering a full Gluten Free Menu. Our modern spacious dining room is finely detailed, cozy, and relaxing, with a trendy classy feel.At RSK our food is made from scratch. We do not use any ready-made prepared foods. Our kitchen has no freezer. Food is purchased fresh daily. Meals are homemade in the restaurant kitchen just a few feet from where you are dining. We also ask to bare with us as it is hard to find staff and we try to keep the prices as low as possible due to the high food costs these days and also trying to find the product in these strange times. We only use top of the line high quality provisions. On weekends we have a 90 minute table time for 2 tops and 2 hour table time for larger then that on the earlier seatings.

    I made the reservation for my fiancés’s daughter and her girl friends who are picky eater and very health conscious. I got responses from the owners : “We believe that Piccolo Bistro is a paradise for picky eaters. We have plenty of healthy food options. You might want to check out our for porcini mushroom risotto with shrimp from our specials menu. Also the grilled sea bass. Be sure to ask your server to substitute grilled vegetables for pasta to make an even healthier meal. See you soon!” And the girls are so thoughtful to me after their Friday night dinner date. They had a great time with healthy delicious Italian meal with live music!

    The service here is unmatched! Everyone from the greeter to the servers to the manager are not just super warm and welcoming, you can tell they genuinely enjoy being of service and providing a wonderful experience. We were a party of 8, celebrating my brother’s birthday and they were super attentive. When it started to drizzle, the manager came over to move my elderly mom who has Parkinson’s to a drier part under the umbrella (we were seated outdoors). There was an Italian singer which added to the ambience and vibes. 10/10
