Despite not having a huge menu, the variety of options is perfect and the food is excellent. They also offer specials. Our meals were visually pleasing and delicious.

Fun ambience we had a good server that always makes a difference. But underpinning it all is the food was fresh and tasty portions were good. Margarita, good The only thing I would recommend is to expand their dessert options

Went there with a large group of family. We selected Monty's because the menu offered a variety of options. The service was excellent in spite of being within a large group. The server was attentive and checked frequently regarding our needs. The food was delicious and served hot. I had the half pork nachos, which were delicious. I ordered the brisket sandwich that I ate the next day and that was delicious as well. If I'm ever in the Harrisonburg area again, I would definitely go to Monty's.

What a hidden gem this is! I traveled with two friends an hour from Fredericksburg to this lovely 1700s estate. One of the owners happened to be outside when we parked and he led us to the front door, telling us the restaurant was inside and to the right. As soon as we stepped inside, we were transported into a beautiful piece of history. The dining room was so cozy! We were warmly welcomed by our server and made to feel more like friends of the family than normal diners. Brunch was delicious! Among us we had the delicious fruit bowl, perfect eggs benedict, fluffy french toast with fresh whipped cream and Vermont maple syrup, and a yummy omelette with sourdough toast and fabulous raspberry jam. There was not a crumb left on any of our plates! We had such a nice time that we didn’t want to leave. Our server was so hospitable, she welcomed us to explore the property after our brunch. As we departed, we promised to return. And that is a promise we will keep!
