Each of these "personae" is housed in a soaring two-story interior distinguished by a gently curving mahogany bar, fluted columns with ornate capitals, stunning original art, plush banquettes, cozy booths, starched linens, glittering glasses, and polished flatware. Another great meal at Bix. We sat upstairs this time, and enjoyed it very much. Our service was fantastic! Great cocktails and appetizers. We always enjoy the bone marrow, oysters, and potato pilllows with caviar. All four of us enjoyed our meals and felt ecstatic when the meal concluded.

Steak frites for both of us were perfect—lovely quality beef with excellent flavor and texture and perfectly cooked (juicy rare!), in a green pepper sauce. Such a treat! The frites were tasty, hot and crispy. We couldn’t pass on the made-to-order cherry clafouti. Omg, the best! We sat outside—it was lunchtime—and had privacy and quiet, pls a view of the bay. 🤗
