I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Mallard’s when we were looking online for somewhere different to eat. We were unaware it had opened at the beginning of the year. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. More marketing is needed because the food and service were great and the prices are reasonable.

Always excellent and friendly service, always some unique items on the menu that are well worth trying, and very well-made cocktails. For a hotel based restaurant and bar far exceeds expectations every time I visit. Definitely worth trying.

Incredible! About time we get this caliber of restaurant around here. Amazing food, presentation, and service. Was such a treat to sit at the bar or “chefs table” tonight and watch the magic happen!

Fish fry was great. Special was sliced beef on a baguette with au jus for dipping. Kind of tasteless. One of us had a Rueben which was good. Great beer choices. Overall the service was good, but really noisy on the enclosed porch. We’ve been here many times. Beautiful building, exposed timbers, beer caves below.

Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. Everything was perfectly cooked. Now I want to try some of their other menu items. Seating was very comfortable. Great value for the money. Will go back to try other menu items.
