The appetizer and entrees were delicious. Our server Shay was absolutely pleasant and helpful. The cosmopolitan and the lemon drop were on point.

This is the first time we dined at Ken’s on a Saturday evening. We had an out of town guest. We had reservations for six. Which turned out that only 4 of us were able to dine together that evening. Our table was at the very back of the restaurant with the table so close to the wall that if six of us were there it was no way two people would have been able to sit next to the back wall. My seat was next to a small garbage can. After a bit I asked if there were another table we could sit at. They were kind enough to send a wonderful young man over to break our table down to one for four people. With the table broken down I wasn’t right next to the garbage can and our friend’s head wasn’t close to the wall jukebox. The food was good as always.

There are two separate sides to this restaurant, one a more loud and bar like atmosphere and the other a bit more subdued and quieter. We had chose the quieter side, which had the ambience of a Northwoods Lodge.. Two of the people at our table, enjoyed the stake medallions and preferred the blue cheese over the Parmesan crusting. Another person had the steak sliders and thought they were extremely good. I myself had a small fillet that was so tender. I didn’t even realize I was cutting it with a butter knife until I was halfway finished. I haven’t had a steak that good in years. We will definitely return.

An Outstanding Meal Okay so the decor at Rockefeller’s is in serious need of an upgrade—in fact a complete makeover—but there is no denying that the food there is outstanding. The char on our perfectly prepared medium rare 16oz ($60!!!) steaks was amazing! The Lobster Bisque was devine and the Oysters Rockefeller THE BEST you’ll find anywhere. The service from Adam was equally amazing. While rather expensive for an Oak Lawn, IL restaurant, and a bit off the beaten path, I give Rockefeller’s FIVE STARS!

They have a great menu of Polish/ European style dishes.
