Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Lake Oswego

Jake's Grill is a classic old school restaurant with old Portland charm from the wood paneling to the Buffalo head over the bar, time and space shift the moment you walk in the door. The food is consistent and service reliable. The menu has the standard classics you would expect. I go for lunch for the Caeser and steak frites. You will not go hungry at Jake's.

The food we had was well executed and high quality. There was nothing particularly interesting about it, no surprising flavors, however. The mushroom bruschetta was probably the most tasty. The duck was, well, duck. The Petrale sole special was rather dry fish, no sauce. the place is noisy - hard surfaces. The service was slow.

Food and service were both very good. Noise level was quite high which made it difficult to talk to other members of our party.

Service doesn’t get better than Alex! She is top tier!! The most kind, most elegant, and a major hustler. The food is good, service good, love watching the game here. Only bone to pick is the price tag continues to increase… Alex: 5/5 Restaurant because of continuous price increase: 3/5
