We are grateful for the set up here- it was a perfect meeting place to see family that is staying in Avondale while we are in Gilbert as this location is exactly halfway between us. The food was excellent and the service was great. I chose it also because of the multiple activities to keep the younger kids from getting too bored while we all caught up - that was SO valuable! Thank you for aiding and abetting our little family reunion! The pretzel appetizer was a hit and everyone enjoyed their meals. We ordered the Mongolian Short rib dish (amazing!) and the Crispy Chicken Katsu sandwich, also wonderful, but I might ask for a little extra slaw on it next time to take it up a notch.

We enjoy coming to Copper and Sage. Not sure but there is a difference in the food whereas a year ago, we really enjoyed the flavors but I think, for example, the blistered shishitos aren't as charred as before, and the steak and frites, the steak was a bit more than mid rare. We still appreciate the ambience and the wait staff. It was busy I believe for the bar so drinks ended up taking quite a while to get - almost 20 minutes.
