- JJackNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEvery detail is covered with exquisite care. This gem of old New York (and Pre-Soviet St. Petersburg) was created by artists fleeing communism and their artistic spirit is a live and well today. The greeting at the door, my server (Thank you D) and even a wonderful chat with the manager all made the experience a JOY. I even left with a coffee cup from the gift shop - a reminder of a special time and place I'll be returning to again and again. THIS is what a "modern" restaurant should emulate, while maintaining beautiful history. Thank you, Dr. JackMore infoRussian Tea Room - NYCPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Midtown West•4.3

Food wise it was good. We found the wild rice in the chicken dish was extremely salty but overall we all enjoy our whole meal. I will definitely be coming back.More infoWarren Street Bar and RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• TriBeCa•4.6
- GGreg and VickiVIPPhiladelphia County •61 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFour of us visited Lady Mendl's for tea while on a girls' theater trip. Our experience was delightful, from the minute we arrived. Our train heading to NYC had been delayed and we did not have time to drop off our bags at our hotel before heading to our reservation. The hostess was extremely accommodating and understanding about storing our bags for us. The experience was positively wonderful - the teas were all delicious. We started with potato and leek soup that was outstanding. The variety and quality of the tea sandwiches was top notch, the scones were beyond delicious, and the desserts were excellent. The server was efficient and very knowledgeable about everything she served, and made us feel at home. This was truly a two hour delight!More infoLady MendlsPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Union Square•4.9
- PPennyLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 1, 2025Had a late afternoon grand Vanderbilt high tea service. Wonderful ambience and decorations made this such a nice little retreat. Tea was brewed perfectly and the sandwiches and scone were delicious (try the scone with the clotted cream, raspberry jam, and the lemon curd together - perfect combination!) Staff was amazing.More infoBrooklyn High LowPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Prospect Heights•4.6
