Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. We also provide a selection of craft cocktails and mocktails, as well as sparkling and still wines.Our kitchen is completely gluten free (and oat free). We are independently owned and operated.

    It was our first time at Post 1917. I have been to some of the best restaurants in the world. Great food and service. Thank you for making the night a special one. Perfect. Staff was superb!!

    Overall we had a good experience. The kids had a blast playing games. The only issue I had was with the food service. When we walked in we were told the only sever they had on schedule called out sick. While I don’t blame that on the server, I do blame it on the management that would only schedule one server. That’s kind of crazy. After about 15 minutes, someone came to the table to take our drink and food order. She was very nice and apologetic for the slower than usual service. Food was ok. The arcade was good as usual, kids loved it.

    First time there. Loved all the nostalgic photos on walls. Server was attentive and friendly. Dinner was delicious! Definitely a new favorite place of mine.
