Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Los Altos

The Cafe Wisteria is a hidden gem at the Allied Arts in Menlo Park. The cafe offers beautiful outdoor seating surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We decided to sit indoors, and it was just as charming with tasteful decor. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the service was outstanding-friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it and looking forward to returning for the weekend brunch.

The restaurant has challenges using Open Table so please be aware of that. It's located where Thai Pepper was for many years. We dined on a Sunday night and the restaurant was quiet with few other patrons. There was a complimentary chicken soup which was quite good. We ordered a couple of biriyanis and they were both tasty with a good portion size - leftovers from both. The spice level was adjusted to our requests. The staff was helpful with our questions. Overall it was a good experience and we recommend the restaurant with excellent value, tasty food and a better ambience than the typical Indian restaurant in Sunnyvale.

I enjoyed this traditional omakase. You can expect excellent and fresh quality in the ingredients they use and I appreciate that there were vegetables too. I’m usually still hungry after eating at an omakase but their portions were spot on for me and I left with a full stomach. I found the portions for wagyu beef to be generous, around 2 oz if I were to eyeball. Overall, I hope to come back!
