Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Evanston

Service was a slow but otherwise good. Had to wait numerous times but the food was good.

We had a wonderful dinner at this iconic hotel last night. Our evening began at the bar with martinis, we then stepped outside onto the beautiful covered porch where we enjoyed a lovely dinner. The roasted cauliflower was amazing. The steak frites was perfect. Our server suggested the most wonderful wine to compliment our dinner……. Place is truly a hidden gem. We left feeling like guests in a private residence as opposed to customers. We highly recommend this restaurant and the hotel!!!

We sat on the patio outside on a beautiful day and loved the ambiance. Everything was wonderful but the service - incredibly slow. an hour of sitting without placing an order! we had to ask and give them a deadline. Loved the menu and atmosphere -- just a warning on the service.
