Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in South Riding

We had a lovely and memorable dinner celebrating a birthday. We arrived early and were seated immediately. Alexandra warmly greeted us and truly made the entire experience special. She gave us wonderful, thoughtful recommendations and was extremely attentive the whole meal, even while we lingered, probably too long, afterwards. She brought us celebratory bubbly as we perused the menu and candle-lit cookies at the end! Two in our party are GF and most everything on the menu was or could be modified. A minor question about our check was quickly resolved, with the manager’s apologies. Top of my list to go again, especially for “Tappy Hour!”

The Pork Chop & Grouper dish was delicious! Waiter was attentive and friendly!

I made reservations for a Sunday Brunch- Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated. Our server, Julia was exceptional in providing an introduction to the menu, its selections and recommendations. She was very friendly and was cautious with the food (nut) allergy we mentioned. The martini's were absolutely amazing and the bar cart with experience that Michael (bartender)provided, was top tier! Price point for a party of 2 w/a 20% gratuity included was $350'ish + additional gratuity due to the exceptional service. Will return again on a Saturday night for the Greek experience vibes and libations.

I love Maker's Union! Delicious Brussels sprouts, loved my French Dip sandwich. Yummy cocktail. Nice music. Nice waitress. All good!

Favorite restaurant in DC We asked for a different table that was more private- no issues. Very accommodating
