Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in Dunbar-Southlands

Can’t beat the location/ambiance. We went for Happy Hour. There isn’t one anymore. No Sauvignon blanc wine. Wine very expensive. Food was mediocre. Service was very good. I used to come here with a group for lunch monthly. We stopped coming as the chef kept changing and the menu became limited. We were advised same this time. New chef stopped HH. The location is best in Vancouver but probably won’t return as prices don’t reflect quality of food.

It was a wonderful experience. We were ushered into a secret passage devoted for the afternoon tea experience.

Service was superb , food was superb , and ambience was excellent Much better ambience than previous ownership which was too formal Although less formal atmosphere the quality of the food is excellent and at least as good Well done !!

The service was exceptional: the food presentation on the high tea pedestal, the quality of the tea cups & cutlery, the professional uniform of the servers, the cleanliness, and the music were all outstanding.

Kyle was very friendly and made every effort to make our evening memorable and special. Food and cocktails were delicious was always. We’ll definitely go back.
