- KKimLos Angeles •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoNice to be greeted right away and know that they knew that we were celebrating out anniversary. The serve was friendly, and very knowledgeable of the menu. Every person that approached our table were very friendly. The restaurant was a little louder than I expected, and made conversation tough. But overall it was very nice. First off, the loaf of bread that came to our table was beautiful. But way over done (almost burnt on the bottom)...it was a crouton on the outside and soft in the inside. I asked for another since this one was too hard to eat. The waiter looked for a "lighter browned" loaf, it was much better. We loved the Hamachi Crudo as well as the Endive & Peaches. But the most anticipated part of the meal was such a disappointment. The Bone-in New York Strip was so bland. I don't think they put any salt and pepper on it. It had a smokey flavor but no other seasoning was detected. The Wild Mushroom side was also disappointing. We love mushrooms, but these were a texture nightmare. Some were so over cooked while others were under cooked. The SOG Eggplant side was delicious. All in all I am not sure I would go back. Too many good restaurants in Houston at a much lower price point.More infoState of GracePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• River Oaks•4.7

- BBridgetChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe shrimp tacos are amazing! The fried chicken is worth the wait. The servers are always so friends and attentive. The bar is a great spot if you get there early! Don’t forget to try the biscuits they are to die for with the jam. Best to valet (only tip) as parking is limited. Great happy hour oysters!More infoLa LuchaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Heights / Washington•4.7
