- LLianeNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe always celebrate our milestone events at Mastro's. This time it was for my daughter's elementary school graduation. The food and service is always the best here. We had multiple different people stop at the table to see how everything was and if we needed anything. The person that stood out to us was Tim, as I later learned one of the managers. He was so friendly and personable. We got to talking about the restaurant industry and our favorite types of food. He asked us what we were celebrating and we told him. After our meal was finished the servers packed our leftovers, because the portions here are so big. We then had our waiter bring out, what we later found out, was a complimentary butter cake and a slice of cheesecake with a candle and congratulations written in chocolate sauce. My daughter had this huge smile on her face and we all devoured our meal. I had asked the busboy, and I am sorry I didn't get his name, if he could pack our bread too. It sounds nutty but the bread basked here is delicious and I never complain about paying for bread because most restaurants don't charge for it. The busboy pulled Tim over and asked if he could just pack a new order of bread for us. Again the service and food are always impeccable. This experience was hands on the best we have ever hand thanks to the staff that night.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - New York CityPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rockefeller Center•4.7
