- PPeterNew York State •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWhen making the reservation at Arlo on OT I mentioned it was our Anniversary. When seated we were given a card and two glasses of Moscato. A nice touch. Arlo is very nicely modern decorated. As it was a Monday in June the downstairs area was not open, which leaves the upstairs dining area which is a little more cozy and leads to the outdoor dining area. I received a call letting me know this and asked if it was a problem as there is no elevator. Another nice touch if that is a concern for you. The outdoor "deck" where we sat as I would describe it is very nice. Set behind the main building and surrounded by tall trees to provide a nice secluded, quiet and shaded area. Our wait staff was attentive and professional. Everyone who attended us said hello and thanked us for coming. We opted for the price fix menu. My wife selected baked clams and I selected calamari as the first course. All the plates are easily shared by 2 people. There were 8 small clams, but a generous portion of excellent calamari. We ordered extra from the menu a caesar salad which is again enough for two. It is a first course item as well, so don't order two as you'll have a lot of salad then. We both opted for the 10oz Filet Mignon. It is cooked to order but if you want pink inside get medium rare, medium was slightly over cooked. It still was very tender and delicious. I opted to add a lobster tail. The menu is ala'carte, so we ordered two sides to share. Creamed spinach and "Kitchen sink" potatoes. For desert we both opted for the chocolate mousse cake. There is a full wine menu available. We couldn't have asked for a better summer night out.More infoArlo Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Northport•4.7
