Great neighborhood gem! Wonderful food, good service. Nice place to go for a long chat or a quick after work meal.

Our "Dinner Group" recently dined at Carmines. The entree and salad were tasty and just the right portion size for the five of us. We had started our "Progressive Dinner" at my house on Penn. with wine and apps. We enjoyed the salad and two entrees at Carmines. Dessert later at my house. The food and service were excellent . The noise level was....too much.... especially since three of our friends wear hearing aides and couldn't process much of our table conversation. We arrived at six and by the time we left the noise level was lower as was the number of diners. A couple of our party stopped by the bathroom before leaving and commented on the VERY HEAVY door to the BR. Overall...a good dinner and good service at a reasonable price at a neighborhood institution.

Great time for our first ever visit. Everything was so delicious. My son loved his pepperoni pizza, my husband thought his lasagna was delicious and my lobster ravioli were great. The peach bread pudding was the best I have ever had. We will definitely will be back.
