Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Little Compton

Delicious! Absolutely cannot beat the view but the food lives up to it. Excellent lunch….burrata salad with carmelized pears (so good), mussels for me and choppino for my husband. Well paced good service. We were celebrating my birthday and it could not have been any nicer.

Food excellent as usual. Service the same. Always feel welcomed.

From the moment we walked in it felt so comfortable. The drinks were amazing. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu. It was hard to choose, but I ended up with the sirloin tips which were out of this world. The service was by far top-notch.

The ambiance, lighting, and food were all very enjoyable. However, I was disappointed that our reservation, made over a week in advance and specifically requesting a table by the window, was not honored, and there was no explanation provided. After being seated, I approached the host to inquire about our request made through OpenTable. She informed me that the window tables were reserved for larger parties.

As always, the Coast Guard House lived up to its excellent reputation for outstanding food, service, and friendliness. The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.
