Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Litchfield

As always, J. Gilberts never disappoints. Another great meal and this time from their new menu! Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere.

We visited the Farmhouse for the first time and really enjoyed our meals there. They also had live music which was an added bonus on top of the great service.

The food is excellent at Apropos. The big disappointment was that I asked for a window table and received a call to verify that I would get one. Then when we got there, the only free window table was set for six people and we were told they had preference over us (three people). Those "six" people arrived when we were eating dessert and were actually four people. This started things off wrong, but the food and service made up for it. At times, it seemed like the staff was running around to meet everyone's needs. The time between courses was a bit long and I wondered if something was going on behind the scenes. I will return because the food is so good, but the staff shouldn't promise something they can't deliver.

Always a great meal! Highly recommend. Particularly enjoyed the wild boar!

The winvian is always top notch. You can’t go wrong there. Service, atmosphere, food and drink are impeccable.
