Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in High Country

Small dining room with white tablecloths -tables , a comfortable distance,- with a noise level that allowed private conversations without effort. High level of service- waitress was excellent in every way. Food reminded us of our visits to Italy. Red sauces were light. No heavy paste marinara- pasta was perfect. Shrimp a good size and delicious. Eggplant rollatini appetizer was a nice starter and the cheese was yummy. A small basket of bread with a side of olive oil/ herbs accompanied our dinner. One thing we really appreciated was that the food arrived hot- right out of the oven or off the stove- too often you know your dish sat for too long until it made its way to your table. Not the case here. The split of prosecco was so good we had two! We split the New York cheese cake and took our time to savor every bite. I can see why this place is always busy
