- JJoanPhoenix / Arizona •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe went for an early dinner on our last night in Nassau. We could see the sunset, and enjoyed the scenery. We had 2 children with us, and they loved the music! We ordered sliders, tacos and shrimp nachos off the app menu and all were delicious. Margaritas were mixed by a skilled bartender, best drink ever!More infoSolemarPrice: Expensive• International• Bahamas•4.4

- AAndresVIPGreater Boston •36 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024During a five-day trip to the Bahamas, my wife and I scheduled five dinners at what we thought would be the best on the island. I had thought the restaurant the night after Sapodilla was going to be the best. It wasn't close. Sapodilla was amazing, right from when you enter. The stairs to the door into the restaurant had a nice wow factor. Very nice. Upon entering, you are met by a piano playing. Another very nice touch. The restaurant is not that large, but large enough where it was the right balance between too quiet and loud. Our server, Trevor, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. The night after, at the restaurant I originally looked so much forward to, that server showed little interest in doing their job well. It was such a disappointing contrast from the job that Trevor at Sapodilla, one that I truly enjoyed. For our dinner, my wife and I shared a very good Caesar salad to start our meal. We each had an entree of angus striploin, each superbly plated, highlighted by an unexpectedly scrumptious carrot puree, that was a perfect match with the dish, a nice contrast from a second dipping option. After talking with Trevor about my interest in espresso martinis, he had the bartender bring a slightly different recipe from the first, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish our meal, we shared a banana tart, which stood out for its presentation and taste. All together, it stood out as easily the best meal I've had in the last year or longer. I wish to go there again in the future, but a flight will first have to happen.More infoSapodillaPrice: Very Expensive• Caribbean• Nassau•4.6
