Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Solitude

One of the top 10 experiences in over 50 years of fine dining. It is not easy to find everything done well at the same time (food quality, food presentation, wine list knowledge, ambience, noise level, service), but Kita does it. We had a wide variety of dishes - some at excellent recommendation of staff. The attention to detail from flatware, to CLEAN wine glasses, to warmed dinner plates, to quality seating (chairs), to restrooms cleaner and better supplied than at home. Quality service is a lost art...knowing when to approach to NOT interrupt a conversation...to pleasant and welcoming without becoming too 'familiar'. It is a fine line and the several Kita staff that serviced our table were perfectly trained and they executed beautifully. Absolutely a must try while in Park City and worth the flight from Florida and the drive from Salt Lake City.

This was my first time at Apex Steak and it was such a great experience! The food tasted amazing and the presentation was impeccable. The sourdough bread loaf was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Melted in my mouth with the honey butter. The Empire salad had interesting and unique flavors and was a refreshing start to the meal. We also had the filet and lobster, both absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was good, but probably the least exciting part of the meal. The asparagus au gratin was delightful. Then just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the desserts arrived and they were out of this world! My wife and I shared a creme brûlée and chocolate conifer for dessert--they both looked incredible and tasted even better. One of the best meals I've had in a long time!

Abby, our server, was terrific, best we have had - the others have been good also, but she was great !!! Wish they started the Smores at 6pm on Saturday's and for all not just the hotel guests, especially us older people. Love coming up there in the summer from Salt Lake as it has great ambiance.....

Limited menu, great presentation, good food. Bison was excellent.
