Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Fowlmere

Warm welcome, didn't have to wait too long for food after we ordered. The flat iron chicken was very good and the other two diners had the Pan fried cod which was cooked very well, would recommend the koffman fries. Only slight thing was we did order under the Bar Nibbles the Homemade Sausage Roll, which came with the main courses, would have been nice to have those before hand

Such fantastic food and an exceptional level of service and attention. We sat at the bar beside the kitchen and loved seeing the food being prepared. If you don't fancy this, there's a beautiful seating area with tables out front.

Great location on the Cam. Although an old building on a hot, busy day the ambience was very good, didn’t seem too crowded nor too hot. Food was good but would love to see a decent ploughman’s as an option…lunch choices were all sandwiches.

Great menu choices and well cooked. Only let down is that's it's very echoey in The Hermitage and can be difficult to hold conversations. Some fluffy clouds on the ceiling would be great.

It was busy but timescale acceptable. Our desert was a long while in coming so The Dumpling Tree gave it to us complimentary and waived the service charge. The food was the best we have ever had here! Compliment to the kitchen staff!
