Dinner in the restaurant at the Parakeet is fantastic. No dish is ordinary. The whole experience is then lifted another level because the staff are so lovely. It’s not cheap, as the fun is in ordering lots of different plates (tapas style for sharing) and this can add up £££ but ultimately it’s worth it. I wish I could go all the time but tend to save it for a special occasion.

Excellent quality ingredients in interesting dishes. Majority of dishes naturally gluten free so great for people with coeliacs. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Vibe is buzzy and informal and love that the style and attention is on the food , with the environment keeping a very big nod to the dish and chip shop that was.

This is a fabulous place! The food is really good. I had I think the best steak onglet ever. The bread is fantastic too. The wine list short but with a nice spread and the service attentive without being fussy. This is a great addition to Mill Lane

Loved it, will be back immediately. Steak was slightly over but didn’t affect how great they tasted!
