Despite our limited German, we felt very welcomed and very comfortable. In fact, we were able to interact with the staff completely in German, which is what we desired, and they were very patient and helpful. From start to finish, the service and the food were excellent. Hamburg restaurants know how to cook fish, and Liman stands in the forefront.

Cute setting, lovely little private glass cabins. Friendly staff and delicious food, if maybe a little overpriced as you’re paying for the ambience and location. But worth a visit especially for a romantic dinner.

We had a selection of sushi : The double tuna was well-prepared and enjoyable. The surf and turf with truffle was excellent, a definite highlight. The prawn tempura had a slightly burnt taste, and the batter wasn’t as light or crisp as expected. The salmon with avocado was decent but had a slightly fishy aftertaste. The aubergine dish was disappointing-small in portion and lacking seasoning, making it quite bland. The wine selection was reasonable, though the markups were steeper than usual. Service was efficient but minimal transactional rather than engaging. Overall, Naya offers a stylish setting and some standout dishes, but inconsistency in execution and a somewhat impersonal service keep it from being truly exceptional.
