- JJackieNew York City •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoBeautiful place, but it was loud! Both inside and outside. We kept asking the waitress and hostess to lower the music. We couldn’t have a conversation even sitting next to each other…. It was like nightclub volume! Food was tasty. From the appetizers- we had empanadas, both ceviches, truffle fries, and sliders… we had the salmon, parrillada, stuffed chicken for entrees- all very good! It was a little overpriced considering we could have gone the the neighboring restaurants in the neighborhood for the same food and less $$. I guess you’re paying for the ambience. I give 3.5-4 stars just because of how loud it was. Bring Tylenol. Servise was ok … kinda slow. But the girls were very nice, polite and professional. I guess they were super busy because we had to keep an eye out for them to order or get an extra drink. Overall, it was a nice time with good food and great drinks!! They were superb!!!More infoJalaoPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Washington Heights•4.5

- MMecheVIPNew York City •181 reviews4.0Dined on May 5, 2025I understand that the management and the chef are one and the same as that of Awadh, where I ate a number of times. Well, the menu is different but the quality is the same. I loved the lamb chops and the goat. Spice level was fine. Because it ws a holiday the beautifully appointed dining room was quiet, enabling good conversation. I have no idea what it will be like when all tables are filled. We were happy with the service and never felt rushed.More infoBaaziPrice: Expensive• Indian• Upper West Side•4.5

- EErickaNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 28, 2025Everything we ate was stellar except for the chicken wings, which tasted like cardboard, BUT, The Burger & Escargot were perfection and my guests risotto and pasta were amazing. The manager came out to speak with us and we ended up having an awesome conversation about how social media has changed the restaurant business. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back.More infoBarawinePrice: Moderate• French• Harlem•4.6
