Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton. The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

Located in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon, on Rother Street, it boasts over 475-years of history between its characterful walls. Recently refurbished, the welcoming décor pays tribute to Stratford’s most famous former resident, William Shakespeare as well as incorporating a nod to its owners, the historic Brewing House, Davenports which was established in 1829. It is more than likely that William Shakespeare purchased his wine from here!
