The Caucus Club, located at the Congress Street level of the iconic Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish supper club featuring two distinct dining spaces, an historic bar and live Jazz. The South entrance leads guests to the elegant dining room with the stage being the focal point. The North entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. Their combined fifty years of wine knowledge, obtained after owning the Fine Wine Source in Livonia, Michigan, studying wines across the globe and simply having an absolute passion for it, gave Vertical Detroit the title of Downtown Detroit’s first high-end, wine-centric restaurant. Vertical Detroit serves as a wine bar/restaurant/retail space in the historic Paradise Valley district of Downtown Detroit.
