Best Historic Restaurants in Sugarhouse

Every dish was delightfully unique and tasty! The rolls are to die for and FREE! Chocolate mousse cake did not disappoint.

My wife and I went out for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was nice to get off the beaten path up the canyon and the building is beautiful with lots of rich history. Our server (Elise), which I remember because it is my favorite car, was attentive, kind and being a dancer... floated around the restaurant. The food is a little on the pricier side, but every dish is very unique and full of flavor. Did not try the wines, but did have a beer. The ambiance was wonderful, until a group of loud business folk were seated next to us.... but it provided interesting eaves dropping and spurred conversation. We met another couple as we were leaving. Turns out that they were from Boston and had a house just miles from a relative of ours. Long story short, great food and service. And double bonus... no cell service so everyone is engaged and learning how to communicate again.

We went here during a break from a work conference at the nearby convention center. Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was OUTSTANDING! Shrimp, chicken skins, strip steak and mac & cheese were all group favorites. Save room for dessert!!!

Dinner was very good except for the seared calamari. It was not served hot and was a bit tough.
