Best Historic Restaurants in Saddle River

Really enjoyed the dinner with friends came from NYC. We all loved escargot, Tuma Tara and orange duck! By the way , their bread is also really good, hot and fluffy inside! Of cause, their wine list is good and we enjoyed the food and time there!

Norwegian Salmon was great—but everything is good! Sat outside on a lovely summer night!

The service here is unmatched! Everyone from the greeter to the servers to the manager are not just super warm and welcoming, you can tell they genuinely enjoy being of service and providing a wonderful experience. We were a party of 8, celebrating my brother’s birthday and they were super attentive. When it started to drizzle, the manager came over to move my elderly mom who has Parkinson’s to a drier part under the umbrella (we were seated outdoors). There was an Italian singer which added to the ambience and vibes. 10/10

This restaurant is exceptional. The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. The food is so fresh. This place gets it. The Calamari was like butter. The chicken scarp was perfection. My wife had the rigatoni which brought me back to Italia. Give this place a try. The owner Peppe walked each and every table to make sure everything was good. This place takes it to the next level. The service is top notch. We weren't even able to pour our own wine. They were right on top of everything. If I could give 10 stars I would. The decor is perfection, the home atmosphere with a perfect flair makes this place an old school restaurant. They even opened the door as we departed. From the time you walk in you will be treated like royalty.
