We were delighted with our dining experience at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. It is a step back in time in ambiance in a historical mansion. We loved the small rooms which created a coziness and quiet atmosphere so uncommon in most restaurants today. The service was superb and the food generally excellent. If you're looking for a unique, romantic dining experience, Ho Ho Kus Inn is the place to go. Of all the many restaurants we have dined at in Bergen County, this is our favorite. The service was outstanding. The food was outstanding.

First, I think it’s off putting to not be able to call the restaurant. The phone is answered by an automated AI bot and then transferred to an answering machine twice when I called. Super weird to not have humans in hospitality. When we sat down, it took 25 mins before our server came over and to pour us water and take a drink order. Food was good, we enjoyed the meatballs, sopressata pizza, ribeye, and Brussels sprouts. I liked the vibe with the live music as well. I would return to sit at the bar and enjoy the vibe and food but probably would not make a reservation for a table. The service was not excellent for the high price tag. Our server was nice, just too busy to be attentive.

We had a lovely time at Giulio’s this past weekend! My family and I enjoyed a delicious dover sole, Chilean sea bass and veal chop! The waitstaff was very attentive and atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant. Nothing but amazing things to say about Giulio’s restaurant!

Great food, great staff . Vibe was perfect . Very good Sunday night dinner spot.
