The staff were amazingly attentive and Ollie made sure our party of 12x were all content. The food was delicious and the portion size was spot on ! The outdoor area was perfect and when the rain came we were all under cover. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Britannia, and happy to give it a 10 out of 10 endorsement. The wine list was also comprehensive and the Pinot Noir was so good we ordered several bottles 👏🙌🏻👌

As a table of 5 for a 50th birthday, we were seated at a round table which was great. We enjoyed a meal of starters, BBQ Peking duck and main courses. Particularly enjoyed the Peking duck and the crispy fried squid with chilli n garlic , and the Bang Bang chicken salad. Attentive service as always, we plan to eat here regularly as our Chinese restaurant of choice in the Berkshire/ Surrey area

Beautiful presented afternoon tea. Range and quality of the food was outstanding. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A wonderful treat for a celebration! The only criticism is the price of the water, which seemed excessive. Otherwise, the afternoon tea was good value.

Had a great lunch, some of the best fish and chips ever paired with local beers and great service! Easy and free car park (don’t forget to put your registration into their system!). Lunch menu is quite short compared with the dinner options but still plenty of choices. Be sure to enjoy the history about the location while taking in the ambience!
