- LLizPhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our first time at Letty’s Tavern. We had been to Longwood Gardens, in the pouring rain. We showed up to Letty’s early, the gal at the reception desk was so accommodating, got us a table. The server was excellent, I could not decide what wine I wanted; he graciously brought me two tastes, so I could decide. We had the cheese tray; it was delicious. My husband had the short rib; it melted in his mouth. I had the fish and chips. The fish was delicious and was just enough, sometimes places give you this ridiculously large piece that you can’t finish; the fries were double fried; excellent. We finished this meal by sharing a piece of tiramisu. Probably one of the best pieces of tiramisu I have tasted. A wonderful end to a very wet day! Will be making a trek back to Kennet Square just to go to Letty’s !More infoLetty's TavernPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Kennett Square•4.5
- KKarenWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur book group of 12 women had our annual holiday luncheon here and the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Janet, did a great job attending to all our needs. She didn’t rush us and gave plenty of time to socialize and open presents. We were in the back room with the fireplace and the ambience of the area was very cozy and spacious. The food was very good and was served promptly and at the appropriate temperature. Highly recommend!!!!More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.5
- MMackenziePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoIt seems crazy to rate a restaurant experience a 5/5 on EVERY aspect, but our experience on Saturday, 12/7 2024 was spectacular! I made a reservation for 2 @8:00pm to celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend. Not being from the area at all, picking from such a wide array of restaurants in Wilmington was a bit overwhelming. Needless to say, La Fia was the right choice. When we arrived, we were seated immediately in the back, private corner of the restaurant. The ambience is extremely warm and cozy, and despite the restaurant being full, the noise was minimal. Our server, Natasha ( I hope we remember correctly!) was SPOT ON. We were greeted, and offered a toast on the house. It was delicious! Such a nice touch. We ordered the Stracciatella starter, which I really cannot explain well - but it is a must order. We also got extra toast when our waitress noticed we flew through it - lol. We ordered a round of cocktails and our mains. Our whole experience was well-paced. For dinner, I ordered the grilled pork coppa. Balanced, tender and absolutely stunning. However, I was tempted by what my girlfriend ordered - the Parsnip Agnolotti. We both admittedly tried to eat slowly… but the food was way too good. Since it was our special day, we both ordered a dessert + a cappuccino and a latte. The chocolate cake and the roasted banana ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious - rich but so balanced. A real treat! We are both incredibly impressed. The food, atmosphere and most importantly, the people at La Fia create a safe and welcoming place to share your special moments! We will return.More infoLa FiaPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Wilmington•4.9

- MMirnaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024Our dinner at Stone Barn never disappoints us. We had a great meal and desserts. We were surprised that they closed the main restaurant for a little while so were at the restaurant at the bottom of the building, apparently the upstairs opens around December but the restaurant was nice as always.More infoFoxfire at The Stone BarnPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Kennett Square•4.6
