Our waitress Amy was very helpful and attentive even though she was pulling double duty as bar tender. She warned us about that which I really appreciated. I like a menu where the descriptions paint a picture of the food and really get you excited… this menu doesn’t do that. It is basic but clear. We ordered a couple of apps and a fish and pasta dish. The beef carpaccio had an amazing flavor profile with a perfect citrus hint. The fish and pasta were both amazing. Amy was great at helping pick wines to pair and even brought a couple of tastes to help. Overall it was an amazing meal. The menu did not do the chefs talents justice but that just left us dying to try the rest. We will definitely be back.More infoLa FiaPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Wilmington•4.9

Soups, salads, and crab cakes were delicious and just the right portions. Our server, Randall, was attentive and showed patience and a great sense of humor. The Back Burner restaurant does not disappoint! After lunch, we visited the adjoining Back Burner to Go for better cheddar and prepared salad!More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.6

Although the restaurant area has plenty of charafter, we like to sit in the bar area for the atmosphere since there’s usually live music. We have our “go to” meals ..: Steak Frittes, which are the best around (even in fancy reataurents). The Cliftonian pizza is also a favorite! While Letty’s is laid back, the service is awesome.More infoLetty's TavernPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Kennett Square•4.3
