Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children.     Absolutely loved the customer service. We went for our anniversary and placed rose petals on our table. Greeted us with Happy Anniversary. Complimentary champagne. And tended to us constantly in a timely manner. We enjoyed all of the food except for my wife's crab stuffed shrimp. They could have used more seasoning

    Amazing as always! Rick is a wonderful chef and Greyson the manager is just the nicest person. All the staff is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door and are greets by the host(Steve last night). My favorite place on earth!

    Beautiful grounds, warm pools, balanced cocktails, spacious rooms, complimentary morning yoga and meditation, the most courteous and helpful staff... I highly recommend Hacienda del Sol for out-of-town visitors as well as anyone local looking to enjoy a special occasion.

    We ate both breakfast and dinner there becuase we expected to be short on time during a conference break. Breakfast was amazing, my husband had the buffet but I had the chicken and waffles and was really pleased with the flavor and presentation of the meal. The spicy dandelion juice was also very good. I was thankful we had booked a reservation for dinner because we were so pleased with breakfast. All of the servers, Especially Anna our waitress, were very attentive, helpful, friendly, and our food for dinner was delicious as well. The Black Forest flourless cake we took to go and enjoyed for breakfast the next day!! Would highly recommend and will happily return on our next trip to this resort!
