- MMaria EVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •38 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe love John's Grill. It harks back to the best days of San Francisco. Who doesn't like an old-school restaurant with a good bartender and a menu that includes such local classics as "Sam Spade's Lamb Chops," and "Jack LaLanne's Favorite Salad." Both delicious! We make sure to go there regularly.More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7

- AAdrienneSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Garden Court at the Palace Hotel is a treat all the way around. First of all, you are seated in the most beautiful room in any San Francisco hotel. The service is superb--quiet and attentive. The wait staff greeted us and immediately brought us water, inquired if we wanted something else to drink, and then brought a basket of superb bakery items so fresh and warm. The menu has a variety of selections from which to choose. I had the Cobb Salad without additional protein, and it was delicious and very large. My guest had the Dungeness Crab Green Goddess Salad. Again, a huge portion. Although we have always enjoyed the desserts before this time we were just too full. If you want a special place and a memorable experience, do visit the Garden Court.More infoThe Garden Court - Luxury CollectionPrice: Expensive• Californian• SOMA•4.4
