Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! This was our second visit. The teething issues of service in the launch phase are gone as we expected they would. We were the only ones dining at first , but it did get busier and they deserve to do well. We will return.

We had a lovely evening but the steak was a bit vainy and tough. I was also with two people with hearing aids and the acoustics was not very good and they could not hear as it was too loud.
