We had a delicious lunch yesterday . Everything was excellent . One small point - although it was Sunday roast it would have been nice to have fish as a mains option .

A perfect summer’s day to celebrate a special achievement of an Oxford colleague was the beginning of an exceptional meal. As punters passed by on the waterway beside the boathouse, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and unhurried conversations. My starter of gazpacho was followed by a moist and meaty chicken breast surrounded by Milanese rice in a delectable lemon sauce. Although the serving was too generous for me to finish, I elected to conclude my meal with a light panna cotta served with raspberry coulis napping at its tender white mound. A Pinot Blanc was the refreshing wine we selected for our meal.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary here, and we had a really nice time! The atmosphere was incredible—warm, inviting, and beautifully set up. Every member of the staff was exceptionally nice and friendly, and they even remembered to congratulate us on our anniversary, which made the evening feel extra special.

We chose to sit outside on a warm summer’s day and enjoyed good food, presented well in a relaxing location.

Second time at the Orangery and lovely experience again. This time we tried the Swedish pancakes and were let down by this dish. Unlike everything else we tried which was fabulous- nobody asked for feedback on this dish. The service was not as good as our first visit but still quite good. I would absolutely not recommend the Swedish pancakes (brunch menu) but everything else was a ten out of ten.
