- AAndyVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur server was outstanding. He knew the menu like it was second nature. The ambiance was quirky but tastefully reserved. The food was delicious too. The short ribs just fell apart on the plate because of its tenderness. My wife had the grilled cabbage— unique and packed full of interesting flavors. We had the butter cake— delicious and huge (I think a small football team could have made a meal of it). The mescal cocktails were almost worth fighting over. All together, a pleasant break from the frenetic pace just outside in downtown Nashville.More infoThe Mockingbird NashvillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.7
- DDavidHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were promptly seated and food service was timely. The server was helpful on food and wine, particularly with the pet nat. The sweet potato was a surprise hit and the pizzas were A+. Well done to all!More infoCity HousePrice: Expensive• Italian• Germantown•4.8
- KKimSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoForgot how great this place is! Cauliflower appetizer was delish, etch salad split was perfect, Hubby had venison and raved about it. Catch of the day was Salmon … it was salmon … but I would have preferred a “green” accompaniment instead of sweet potato beignet - but that’s a personal preference! Meringue desert was unique and just the perfect finish to our meal! LOVED that we could bring a favorite bottle of wine in for a $30 corkage fee- it was our Anniversary so we wanted to celebrate with it! We were headed to Nashville Symphony after dinner for a show, big plus is free valet and we could get car after show! Already planning a return visit. As locals who tend to avoid downtown restaurants these days - this was a Hit! No wonder it’s been around so long! Staff was great tooMore infoetch - NashvillePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / Sobro•4.8
