The food was outstanding, portion sizes good. The fish soup was excellent and the other dishes were not bad either. Would go back again in a shot. The pub itself was a little run down but this adds to the charm . The service was OK but probably not enough servers as the two on yesterday, although very friendly, were very busy. David

Despite a difficult situation that arose with my car while we were here, the staff went out of their way to cater for us. The food is absolutely delicious, the lemon and mint soft drink was refreshing, and they delivered the meal hot and promptly - even allowing for me having to leave and then return. Fantastic experience

We loved meeting the owner. He is a lovely chap. He has decorated his restaurant beautifully, and the food is incredible. The staff looked happy as well, and the service was excellent. We went there for Father's Day, and I accidentally chose the wrong date. The lovely owner checked with me if I had the correct date. Thank you! We were fitted into a slot and could take our beautiful dog, Luca. He is recovering from surgery, and we couldn't leave him. Luca had a beef patty. It was cooled down before it was given to him. Lovely touch. Thank you very much.

Food was really good and service was prompt and welcoming. And they serve a great pint. Recommended.
