A most enjoyable experience. It was a joint birthday lunch for two very dear members of the family. We were seeking a venue with a quiet and relaxing environment; Chapter One fulfilled these requirements admirably. The Team was most attentive throughout the meal. The menu was not extensive but more than adequate; each food dish placed in front of us was delicately arranged and delicious. We'll take away good memories of a great family celebration at Chapter One. Tony

Delicious fresh food, beautifully presented, served by a delightful waiter. Comfortable and pleasant decor. Absolutely delicious and fresh ingredients with a healthy but exciting choice of dishes.

Possibly the best meal yet in the Cat Inn and the others have all been fabulous as well. Wonderful service, a lovely summer evening dining in the garden. We have recommended the Cat to many others and we love to take our friends here when they visit the UK from Europe. It is what they expect from an English country pub in a beautiful village.

When we arrived one of our party was in a wheelchair the staff couldn’t have been more helpful putting ramps down and even changed our reserved table for a one that was easier to access would definately recommend thank you so much

What a lovely place. The food is amazing and very big portions. Will be going back and would recommend to anyone.
