Lovely food lovely staff and lovely wine overall experience was really good

This is the 3rd time we have been to the Tartan Fox and the food has been consistently amazing, the staff are very pleasant and efficient without being overbearing, would certainly recommend this place to others.

Delicious food and such an extensive brunch menu it’s hard to make a choice. All superbly cooked with unusual flourishes. Lovely friendly staff too! Really worth the drive as it’s away from main towns. A beautiful spot. Definitely will come again.

Overall a very pleasant experience and good food. Staff were very friendly and service good other than the sause to accompany the steak was obviously forgotten by the chef so there was a long delay before it arrived and the food was not on a hot plate so had cooled a bit when sauce arrived. Staff did go immediately to address the issue of the missing sauce though. Monk fish curry was very tasty. All food portions we saw were a good size. People sitting beside us were struggling to finish their meals. One waitress was very pleasant but dressed in a hoody and smelled strongly of smoke which wasn’t great. There are more tables upstairs which wasn’t obvious from the street view.
