Best Fun Restaurants in Wembley

This is the second time I've eaten at Faros and it was just as good as the first time. I had the minestrone soup to start with and it was delicious! Also one of the best soups I have ever had. I then had the 4 cheese pizza which was one of the best pizzas I have ever had.

Calamari to start was very good however as a tourist maybe I did not understand the customs but my medium rare steak was very rare, pretty much blue. I’d have sent it back but I tried it and it was still good. The mashed potatoes were good but very buttery. I’d go back but I’d try to be more clear on my steaks temp. Service was great except when they asked if I wanted mustard, mayo, or ketchup with my steak. They did not ask anyone else that and felt odd to me.

Had a fantastic meal at Chet’s, a Thai-Americana gem in Shepherd’s Bush that blends the bold, smoky flavors of Southeast Asia with the nostalgic comforts of a classic American diner. I went for the BBQ Rice Bowl with Grilled Aubergine (£12)—a deliciously smoky, well-balanced dish that really hit the spot. My friend had the Tuna Melt (£16), and wow, this wasn’t your standard sandwich! The tuna larb filling, packed with mint, coriander, red onion, and Kewpie mayo, was next-level. Add melted American cheese and a crispy, golden bread exterior, and it’s easily one of the best tuna melts I’ve tried. The coffee was great, rounding out the meal nicely, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the crisps on the side—just a personal preference. Overall, a fantastic spot with unique flavors, a cool vibe, and well-executed dishes. Would I return? Absolutely.

A great venue, with super staff. The food was delicious and ambiance perfect after a busy day. Amine, our host, was very friendly, gave some great dinner recommendations and had a good laugh with us!
