The Green Flash is an iconic waterfront dining establishment in Captiva, Florida. Come by boat or car, sit indoors or at one of our outdoor dockside tables for lunch or dinner service. The Green Flash serves traditional American fare with a distinct European influence. The kitchen uses only fresh ingredients, including market-fresh fish in all its from scratch dishes. The full bar provides plenty of drink options and the dining rooms and patios provide beautiful views of the water while you eat. Enjoy your meal as you watch the many pleasure and fishing boats depart and return from their excursions! The Green Flash's menu begins with a range of starters like oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, hot flash shrimp and mussels. There are plenty of salads and soups on The Green Flash menu as well, like the grilled chicken Caesar. Larger dishes include chicken porcini and pan seared diver scallops.

    Have had many lunches here but this was our first dinner. Excellent expansive menu, with good pours on cocktails and topped off with excellent service from Gia. look forward to trying it again next time we stay on Captiva.

    First time coming here , service was good. Server was friendly and she made suggestions and recommended the same wine I had in mind. Atmosphere was great , live music and it wasn't to noisy. Love the location and food.

    Much to our dismay a reservation for an advertised buffet with carving stations /extensive salad bar /appetizers/sides/ desserts became an omelette bar with breakfast sides -which though good , was not what we expected ! apparently the advertised Xmas Buffet was from two years ago and we barely made the cut for the breakfast buffet ! our reservation was for 11 AM and the breakfast Buffet stopped serving at 11 AM. We were seated since we showed our confirmed reservation! Staff was confused n it took a bit to sort it all out. Never have had trouble with open table reservation before but this was a mess!!!
