Overall a great experience. Wonderful view over the Alster lake. Food is delicious. Portions are generous so do consider sharing dishes if you are not overly hungry. Be aware it is a cashless hotel so payment only via card.

Make sure you have a reservation before you go. If the weather is nice, I suggest you give them a call to check if you can sit outside. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was quick and our waiter was very kind. We wanted to try the Zunge fish, and he suggested us that he can ask the kitchen to prepare half portion. We had also calamari and schrimps, which were all great. The view is amazing with a very fancy ambient.

We had a wonderful view of the Elbe with all the excitement of watching the many and varied boats and ships going by against the backdrop of the working port - fascinating. The food was excellent. They did a very good version of the local speciality of Labskaus and my plaice with little Busum shrimps and parsley potatoes was beautifully cooked and presented. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all a great evening.
