Best Vegan Restaurants in Yonge and Lawrence

Excellent complex tastes with ingredients from around the world. Deep savoury textures and unique plate design will keep me coming back but I did not enjoy the soy protein desert. It was hard and not enjoyable. Wish they did something more classic with the dessert like a v. chocolate cake or cheesecake. They were very accommodating for me as I asked for gluten free. I would still come back.

I took my best friend here for her birthday and we both loved our experience. The food was really good and the atmosphere was also great. We also had Wes as our server for the evening and he was incredible! Wes provided has with great recommendations, checked in appropriately and was so sweet. We'll definitely be back.

My aunt who's vegetarian was visiting Toronto so we decided to try Planta. Food is delicious and non-vegetarians will not go hungry. Only comment is that waitstaff sort of disappeared. We had a lovely evening enjoying the company at our table but the restaurant would have sold at least another round of drinks had they checked in on us after they served the food.

The in-house made charcuterie board was delightful; I'll be going back for the vegan blue cheese, vegan camambert, and house-baked bread as soon as possible! Avelo Bar - I'll deal with Toronto traffic any day to visit you :) Intimate, relaxed, upscale and stylish ambiance presenting incredibly tasty, animal-free menu items.
