Best Vegan Restaurants in Weaverville

Sucj a memorable experience celebrating our anniversary on our first trip to Posana. Wonderful service, delicious food, but most of all there was just a feeling of being so well taken care of, appreciated, and even coddled by the staff. It was clear that the staff feels confident and proud of the establishment, and were empowered to offer things to make us feel completely catered to. As someone who has a long history in the restaurant business myself, this is not a common attitude, and it stood out to me that while it’s clear there’s much justifiable pride in what this restaurant offers, thoughtful, skillful choices in food, wine, and cocktails, the bottom line is making the customer feel well served. Many restaurants offer a fantastic food and beverages, but this kind of service is not common. Lots of appreciation for a really special night for us.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. Took advantage of the January restaurant month special which was a decent deal. Was the perfect place to celebrate a quiet birthday.

Glass Onion is a consistent favorite of mine, my friends and family. The entrees are always exceptional -- creative combinations, beautiful presentation, generous portions. Staff is very friendly and helpful, describing dishes and aiding diners with any allergies or food issues. I recommend this lovely restaurant without reservation!

We had an excellent dinner at Rye Knot! Our group of five included two people who eat gluten-free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of options available – way more than their website or Yelp lets on. If you’re gluten intolerant, this place is a hidden gem with tons of choices. We’re always on the lookout for spots north of Asheville, and Rye Knot was a great new find. My wife ordered a gluten-free Reuben with gluten-free fries, and my daughter had a gluten-free sandwich. The rest of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a filet, and the meatloaf – everything was delicious. Portions were generous, leaning on the larger side, which we appreciated. The drink menu is extensive, with lots of beer and cocktail options. Every bar order we tried was excellent. While they seemed a little short-staffed, the service didn’t skip a beat. The manager, chef, and bartender all pitched in to help serve, and it really showed – we didn’t experience any delays. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a laid-back, unpretentious, and slightly military-inspired vibe. Rye Knot is definitely on our list of places to return to. Highly recommend!
